Our neighborhood has lost a shining light. I could always count on Sonia for deep, supportive conversations and solid urban parenting tips at any hour of the day. She always had time to listen and offer hugs-- regularly crossing the street to model her toddler-whisperer techniques to a cranky kid. She cared deeply and will be missed as much.

Sister Sonia, I thought we would have shared the weekend of Nov. 30th together in Worship and Learning About Strategy for Future Kingdom Work but God had Another Plan! The last time we talked/texted you were looking forward to attending with me. When I Sent You A Text on Monday, I Didn’t Know You Would Be Resting in the Arms of Jesus, By the Next Day, Experiencing What 2 Corinthians 5:8 says, “In fact, we are confident, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” For you refused the Treatment and believed God for your Total Healing— And He Did Just That! You will be Sorely Missed, but I’m So Grateful to have known you as a Prophetic Prayer Warrior, Eagle Eye Author, Encourager and Sharer of the Gospel of Christ and Sister-Friend For 9 years— First meeting when I served as a Board Member of Families USA. However, we couldn’t keep silent about our Faith as we worked during those Board Meetings! I Am So Grateful that You Said, “Yes,” to joining Me on these Powerful Broadcasts to Share the Gift God Deposited in You!

Dear Sonia - pray you are at peace!🙏🏽 I remember you as a beautiful caring niece, the daughter of my dear cousin Annie. I’m sad I missed the years of your being a wife and mother. I bet you were a caring and loving one. May God keep your spirit close to Him. Condolences to your mother, father, husband, children and all the family - from Aunty Amelia 🙏🏽🥰🌹

I think about Sonia every single day, as well as Mikili, Jaya and Stefan! I feel lucky to have had her in my life and my takeaway from Sonia is the love that she inspired in everyone that she met!
