Taken too soon. Sonia had so much more to do on this earth. I met Sonia when she first arrived in the USA and we kept in touch over the years through marriages and children. The latter being the joy of her life. We met just months before she died and I had no idea Sonia was sick. Through all the ups and downs in life, Sonia's positive spirit always shone through...like sunshine. Her creativity and determined vision are sorely missed. A light has gone out in my heart. My sincere condolences to her family here and abroad.

My condolences to the family. I met Sonia and Tanya at The Annie Walsh Memorial School in Sierra Leone and we were boarding students. They were my seniors and we had great times and made plenty of memories. Sonia was a lovely person. May her soul rest in perfect peace🙏🏾.

I known Sonia from attending ACV Church. She always sat at the front row on fire for God. I was known for giving her rides home when needed from church. And as long as I known her, I never knew her struggle/battle with cancer.
Those drives home involved encouraging conversations, prayers, and uplifting word.
I admire her selflessness, perseverance, and strength.
Rest In Heaven Beloved😍

My condolences to Sonia's entire family, in the U.S. Sierra Leone and beyond. May God comfort you all.
I met Sonia through church in 2018. She just loved God and was always eager to encourage me to hold on and trust regardless of what I was going through at the time. However, she wasn't just a Christian who prayed and left things, she also believed in taking action and doing whatever was physically necessary to help. No matter how small, she always found a way to help and pray.
Ah the prayers!!! We would spend quite a while praying on phone together. She wouldn't let up until the peace of God flooded her heart on the matter or we heard God speak a word. Sometimes she would just worship.
When things turned around and we met this year at a DC Government event, I remember telling her when we went out, now is my turn to payback. She smiled and said "see what God has done".
She never stopped loving God and serving Him in every little way possible. She loved her family and above all things wanted them to share with her that love for God which she was so passionate about. That was her ultimate goal and desire.
Rest in peace Sonia. I will miss you. This write up does no justice to the things you have done in my life, the life of others and in your family. You are at peace now and with the Father. Rest in peace forever sis. Love you.

My dear friend Sonia is with our Father in heaven. I will miss her dearly. Though separated by miles and years, you held a special place in my heart. I will cherish our memories of girl-hood and young womanhood. A kinder, more compassionate and more emphatic friend I have never had. With an infectious sense of humour and beautiful smile! Oh Sonia.
Go rest high on the mountain. May your husband, children, parents and siblings be comforted.
Love, always.
Onike.

Sonia was a genuine and sweet soul, but when she was tested the 🔥🔥🔥 came out when it needed to.
We would talk about it often about how we were all raised in thinking alike. Whether it was geopolitics or work relationships.
Loved everything about my sister. She was such a cool person❤️
