Lisa and I were teachers together in Columbus. We spent a lot of time together with our kids. We had the same sense of humor and laughed a lot! I won a trip to Miami and she went with me. Since we were poor schoolteachers we ate mostly oranges and peanuts but had a wonderful time! This led to a trip to Chicago and later to New Orleans. She was always up for an adventure. I never met anyone with a warmer soul than she had. I think of her all the time.

Sending my deepest condolences on the passing of sweet Ms. Lisa. She was a kind heart and was always there to help. Met her on my first day of school at (Elizondo) and I didn’t know a soul and she showed me where everything was and checked on me every time she saw me, she made me feel welcome . Definitely going to miss Lisa!

Lisa blessed so many with her love and laughter. We meet at Aragon Elementary in Fountain, CO. She showed her love in so many ways. She had a strength of character few people have. I count myself blessed for having known her.

Lisa will be remembered for her kindness and admired for her strength. I will remember her wit and laughter. A beautiful soul is lost to this world but lives on in all who have her in their hearts and thoughts. God bless… Renee and Gregg Holden

Lisa was the best sponsor Mom we could have asked for. She not only fed us endless meals, provided a comfy place to stay, and drove us around all over, but she was a listening ear and a fierce advocate of ours. She imparted wisdom into young, impressionable, exhausted, and sometimes not-so-clear-thinking stressed out cadets. Ha! She was a voice of reason and a staunch supporter of us. I would have felt so lost without her and her family opening her home and hearts to us. She was generous beyond measure with her time, money, and heart. I will always hold a special place in my heart for her and am deeply saddened by her passing. Thank you Mama Lisa for everything you ever did for us!

I am sorry for the loss of your mom. I was one of her volunteers at Aragon elementary and we became fast friends. I volunteered for her for 6 years before I moved and we kept in touch through texts and Fb. She meant the world to me. She had a heart of gold. Her generosity and love for her family, her friends, the countless school children, and any one that knew her was endless. The stories I could tell of her. Summers we spent taking her grand babies and my kids roller skating. Our lunches in the library. Her sharing about you, her family everyday. She was one of a kind and like many I loved her. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss. Prayers with you at this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I met Lisa at Lincoln Elementary in Colorado Springs when she worked in the library. She and I became immediate friends. She had a really hard time with the main librarian there, and when principals changed, Lisa went to a different district. But we remained friends and met for lunch occasionally. She was such a kind person, and I enjoyed her friendship. She was truly a good person. She loved her family, and talked about you all every time we got together. I am so sorry for your loss. 😢

As we tip-toe through life we often give thought to those who travel with us in our hearts and minds, Lisa was my friend for many years, I will truly miss her friendship and absolutely beautiful soul. Lisa's love for her family was incredible and it flowed over into her friendships. I was blessed to have Lis as a friend for which I will forever be thankful. Along with Brent, Chris and Dani, may we all allow our hearts to smile every single time she enters our thoughts. I thank Lisa from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to call her friend, and also for her "Company Chicken" recipe.

Your mom meant the world to my family. She let me volunteer in her library at Aragon for a few years, letting me be on site for my kid whose health struggles were complicated. She was so loving to all the kids, straight with the adults and really showed absolute kindness to us. I spoke with her earlier this school year and I'm so glad I did. Lorenzini was an angel to us, to me. I aspire to be as loving.
