Shane's obituary
Shane Patrick Wilson
Shane was born on November 20, 1967 to his parents Linda and Michael Wilson in Plattsburg, NY. He passed away suddenly while at work on April 21, 2026
Shane is survived by his mother Linda Wilson, his children: Dylan, Devin, Sam and three grandchildren: Noah, Cole, and Nathan.
Shane is also survived by his soulmate of 18 years of who he loved dearly, Kim, and his puppy Kota.
Shane also has siblings; Jennifer, Nikki, Ray, and Tricia.
Shane’s passing is preceded by his father Michael Wilson and his beloved grandmother Polly Maloney.
He also has a huge extended family that he thought the world of; he spent much of his time with the LaRocque family as a child growing up and continued to stay in contact with all of them throughout the years. He loved making memories with his entire family.
Shane worked hard at his career at Comcast for nearly 40 years and was so looking forward to his retirement and enjoying the rest of his life. He had so many life long friends that he had made within the company and maintained contact with them beyond their employment. That’s just how he was.
Trying to list everything Shane enjoyed could be endless, such a positive person under any circumstances, but a few would be his love of the open road with the wind in his hair on his HD. He truly felt alive on his bike and would use any excuse to ride it. Oh, we need milk? Letttts goooo!
Shane was an incredible dancer, his friends and family all got together frequently to boogie. So many fun times. He approached life with a simple philosophy; show up, be kind and enjoy the ride. And that’s exactly what he did.
Shane was a huge football fan, as well as a racing fan. He attended so many races at Lee Race Track in NH and Thunder Road in VT with his childhood friend Joe Kelly.
He also enjoyed hiking, swimming, dancing, antiquing, reading, and most importantly: just spending time with the people closest to his heart. Man, did he have a huge heart. He managed to fit them all in there.
Above all, Shane cherished time with his family and friends. He leaves behind countless memories of laughter, shared meals, meaningful conversations and endless generosity.
His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
Shane’s dislike list is sooooo short: avocados , cantaloupe, fake maple syrup, riding in the rain and dubbed movies.
Everything else was open for discussion.
The Celebration Of Shane’s Life is going to be held at Rogers Restaurant , 869 Central Ave, Dover, NH on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
