I sang with Ruthie in the UUFRC choir for a number of years. She was right beside me in the alto section. We all loved her sweet, sunny nature, love of music, and beautiful singing voice. She is truly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Deepest condolences on the loss of Ruthie Rose. Those of us who sang in the church choir with her will never forget her bright smile, warmth, and love for music. She will be missed, yet live on in those who remember her.
I had the joy of singing Alto with Ruthie in the UUFRC choir for several years. Her lovely singing voice shone through every note she sang, and her smile could light up the darkest soul. She was bright, colorful and joyous, always smiling, and I'll miss seeing her at every choir rehearsal and those Sunday morning choir gigs.
In loving memory of my Aunt Ruthie. Such a beautiful kind loving heart & spirit. An amazing singer, singing beautiful songs & performing in our family weddings. Seeing her ride horses swim, walk & jog always coming back with a flower in her hair or hands. I will smile at the memory of her crawling thru her Dad’s office window in Boca after staying out all night. Sneaking in thru the window saying “Avon Calling!” Hahaha!
Love you forever! Your heart & soul will be with everyone You touched with kindness unconditional Love.
Ruthie was an inspirational teacher and supporter of so many hundreds of young performers across the Bay Area, and truly a delight to work with. She made us all want to be better and we loved her so. She blessed us with her loving spirit and she will be missed. 🙏 🌷
I will always think of Ruthie as a shining light of song, love and joy. She remains a shining light for all of us who were blessed by her beautiful loving presence. We will always miss you.
Thinking of you Trina, Winter, Kezia and Timothy. Grandma Ruth was a shining presence. Both my girls loved taking voice lessons with her. I loved seeing her at events at Clifford School. A gentle and loving soul with a hint of mischief and always fun. Lots of love, Snow Saha Family
I will miss my aunt Ruthie ever so much. We spent many times together at massage school and I baby sat for her as far back as Ted’s early childhood. Her spirit will be sorely missed. Love, Mary
God bless all of you. Im so very sad to hear of Ruthie passing. I will never forget her beautiful voice as she sang at our wedding in 1988. We also share a birthday on June 28th. Much love to all of you, her beloved family. Warm thoughts always. Xoxo
I am so sorry to hear of Ruthie’s passing. I will always remember her vibrant smile and warm spirit. We would all be so excited every time she would attend a Smith/Akers family gathering. She brought so much joy with her. Heaven gained a good one!
