Richie helped me (Megan) to get our house cleaned up while Keith was in Iraq. Long story there but I was young, had way too much stuff, and at the time was sick with Lyme Disease so I just didn't have the energy to do much cleaning or organizing. Richie took initiative to help get people together and get a crew to help get the house in order.
Rich was hands-down the most loving, upbeat, positive, joy-filled person we have ever met. And his attitude was infectious. He always made us smile and feel so happy we had run into him, no matter where or when.
His heart was enormous and had room for everyone. Our hearts are heavy knowing we will never again see his beautiful smiling face. He left this life far too soon but we cherish the laughter and love-filled memories he left us with. God speed, sweet friend.
Richie had an infectious smile and a magnetic personality. It was hard to feel anything but good around his smiling face and friendly demeanor. He was gracious with people, and you would love him soon after you met him. He had a joyous spirit that set a positive tone in conversations. I know he loved the Lord, and is with our Savior now. We will meet again!
My heart breaks as I say good bye to a special friend! I will miss the heartfelt hugs, the smiles and the wonderful friendship we had with Richie! Until we meet again.
