So sorry to hear about Ray. I still remember him on his wedding day to Zana; what a celebration of joy. Loved the bio, your Dad had many interests and we loved spending time with him. Stan and Jerolyn Baldwin
Raymond was such a kind and caring person. He taught me how to ride my bike, patiently and graciously running beside me as I learned. He carried me home from school one day because he wanted to go a “short cut” which turned out to be muddy and he didn’t want me to get dirty—and I was a handful! And he was always smiling! Even when his model plane crashed his smile never faded. Nor did the pieces of his plane which lived behind our couch for years! I never saw him get mad; he seemed to rise above the rough patches of life. Raymond was a shining star in my universe. What a blessing to have known him! My heartfelt condolences to Zana and the rest of Raymond’s family.
Dear Uncle Raymond. My earliest memories go back to when I was just 3 yrs old, visiting you from Canada. Every early childhood image is with you and your Cessna. Your humor was a constant. Even up to your last days your big smile amd twinkling eyes lightened the room. You were such a big part of my growing up. It is so hard to say "goodbye". But I am grateful for all the years I was able to see you. All my love to Zana, Tim, Tiffany, Shawna, Elliot and Sydney...and all the extended world of family and friends that loved you so much.
