The news of Randy's passing is heartbreaking. I first met Randy in 2008 through work and a lasting friendship developed. During every conversation with Randy he would always find time to ask about my family, and his concern for others was sincere and genuine. Randy loved sharing stories of his children and their journeys, and was unabashedly in love with his wife Carol. It was always apparent that his personal strength was fueled by his love for family and his unwavering faith in Jesus. To Carol and the entire Regner family please accept my deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
Randy and I met almost a year ago when we started working together. He was such a genuine, down-to-earth teammate and friend who loved his family deeply. I loved hearing stories about he and Carol playing golf (he told me he liked to caddy for her even if didn't/couldn't play...he just wanted to spend that time together with her) and I loved hearing stories about his kids and new grandchild. Randy made a lasting and positive impression on me in the short time I had the privilege of knowing him. My sincere condolences to his family.
My heart goes out to all of Randy's loved ones. Randy was one of the nicest people I have come across in my insurance journey. He was motivating, supportive, genuine and overall a great mentor to myself and everyone he came across. Randy spoke very highly of his wife, family and friends. Hopefully all the memories shared here can keep his spirit alive - it was a good one!
Randy will be greatly missed. He was always the most positive, encouraging, supportive, honest and kind co-worker I've had the chance to work with. Randy always made time to offer a helping hand. His positive and calming presence made being a part of his team truly special.
