Best man ever. 

Randy and I were very close friends in our high school years, I would say we were best friends. Even though we went to different high schools we would hang out nearly every night. Randy served as best man in my wedding to Audrey in July of 1988. Randy flew in from Dallas to spend a few days before I got married. Randy was always the most level headed guy in our high school gang  and the strongest physically. I m very sorry to read of Randy’s passing. 

I also have to mention Bill & Marge. The nicest parents of all time. The last time I saw Randy and Barb was at Bill’s funeral.  I look back and lament the fact that we didn’t stay in touch. I did stop in to see Marge from time to time after Bill’s passing. 

I’m sorry that it took so long for me to reply but I was stricken with covid and nearly died in 2021. I have all of the lingering symptoms to this day. 

Barb I hope you’re doing well, as well as possible I suppose.

I'm so sorry for your lost and hope we stay in touch. We have so much fun wine tasting with the both of you the last time the both of you where in Napa. I lost my son last year 😞 and I still feel empty, my heart goes out to You and the family.

Over many years, Randy was the CFO of two companies I was involved with. In both companies, although reserved in character, Randy evolved as a leader, based on his competency, hard work, ironclad integrity, and unusually high level of commitment to the people he worked with. A solid man, and a very likeable guy. We remained close throughout the years. I will miss him.

I had the fortunite opportunity to know Randy for about thirty years, as first as a client, then friend and in later years as a member of the Pinnacle Commercal Cpital team. Randy was full of lfe as Lizz points out and when we would get together in my many trips to California, Randy always talked about hiking in the hills around Californa and in other national parks. As for our team and me personally, Randy is a geat loss and he will be greatly missed by us and may others whose lifes he has touched.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are playing football outside with cousins Randy (and Nelson) on Thanksgiving and Christmas no matter the weather!
