Background
Quentin remembered his summers at YMCA Camps as life changing events. He attended YMCA camps in TN, MO, and MI. Every summer from age 6 he was making friends, learning water sports, climbing, practicing archery, and even performing his original music for his adoring audience. He became such a fan of camping that he requested (and was given!) a hammock in his bedroom instead of a bed. As a teenager, Quentin paid it forward by serving as a Counselor-in-Training to help develop leadership skills and foster a passion for the outdoors in his young campers. The family would like to share this same experience with deserving boys and girls as a yearly endowment. A small portion of funds will also go to Quentin's remembrance ceremony and affairs.
