Phill been honored by Synergy Summit South Asia Region — with Phill Butler

Phill, thank you for being a friend and mentor. You taught me so many things I utilize everyday. I already miss you. Where will I go for that Phill specific wisdom and experience? Can't wait to see you in Heaven.

My condolences to Phill's family. I first met Phill in the  late 70's as a communication expert and was greatly influenced by his teachings. The concept of working together, though mentioned in Scriptures, it is Phill who was so passionate about Partnering and I understood that there is another way of doing Missions, that is the Body of Christ, working together.  I do want to thank God for His life and his contribution to the Global Mission.

Leona and I would like to send our sincerest of condolences to the family on Phill's homegoing. I first met Phill when I was called to serve as Youth Pastor in Edmonds, WA, where Phill's two daughters Karin and Shelley were in our youth group. We accompanied Phill to Urbana '76 with a team from our college group. In recent years we caught up with Phill again in Edmonds. He took us out to coffee after church and, after hearing about our ministry, asked us one penetrating question: "How can you have the most influence on the greatest amount of people in the shortest amount of time?" That question prompted us to take our seminar material and write a book from it, then adapt it to an online course in 2018. That is an example of Phill's keen mind for asking just the right question at the right time to stretch you and challenge you to expand your vision for Kingdom impact. Thank you, Phill, for your international impact.
