So sorry for your loss dear cousins… but you had her for a full lifetime. May her memory be a blessing . your family looks beautiful in the photo. Sending love, cousin Miriam.
I have so many fond memories of Penny when we were kids growing up on McDonald Street. She was always a fun and happy person. One of the memories I’ve never forgotten was when she would drive us (Steve, Glen? & me) to the beach, if she ever had to make a sudden stop, she would extend her arm out (pre seatbelts) to keep us from falling forward. Always a classy woman ❤️❤️
I felt that Penny would be the one to defy death and live forever! Growing up with Beth as the neighbor next door I recall Penny as the hip mom with boundless energy...and yes, strong opinions.
I am blessed to have visited with her 2 years ago when I was last in California. Ohh...the memories! She will live on forever in my heart.
From Amy: One of my favorite things about Penny was how she dealt with problems. She would hear you out — and then remind you of the upside. She didn’t allow anyone to sit in their “issue” for long. Victimhood wasn’t her language. Forward motion was. She believed you move through challenges, not camp out in them.
