Bruce, I'm so sorry. Trust that God will get you through. I was very happy when you and Penny connected, and wish you could have had more time together. My prayers and thoughts are for you to feel the comfort that your faith will bring.

Our deepest condolences to Bruce, the sons, grandchildren and extended family. We became good friends with Penny (and then Bruce) decades ago when Penny was working at WHCF. Penny was a treasure (!!!), a delight to know and faithful to the end. We enjoyed many meals together both where Penny and Bruce lived and at our home, along with wonderful conversation. Penny had a wonderful sense of humor, a quick and ready smile and a rock solid faith in Christ. Our hearts ache for Bruce and his loss, especially at what should be a joyous time of the year. Yet, we can rejoice because through our faith in Christ we have that blessed assurance that we will see Penny again, all.of us free of the fleshly chains of illness and sin. Bruce, we love you and will get together with you when we return home. Rest assured that your myriad of friends are uplifting you in prayer as you suffer the loss of your (and our) loved one. Our God will see you through this. We can rest assured that Penny is free of the physical restraints she endured in these last few years. God has lifted her home and freed her. His timing is never our timing, but His timing is perfect. Someday, He will.take us Home as well, but in the meantime it is up to us to carry on and let people see the light of Christ in us. You are in our prayers, my friend.

Penny played piano for me out of the goodness of her heart. We made some great memories together! Our loss is Heaven’s gain❣️

Penny was one of the kindest persons that I have ever known. She had a big heart and she listened to me when we talked. I’m honored to have known her, beginning back in the Barbourville days.

We send our love and warm memories for a God given saint in Penny Ayer. We send our love and prayers to you Uncle Bruce. Penny was a beautiful soul and loving Aunt. She was full of light and love and always had a knack for creating a special memory or sending out a perfect gift. I remember being able to listen to her on the radio station out in California during some tough times and her gentle voice couple with some Jesus tunes sure had a powerful impact. The world has lost a wonderful person but heaven is cheering her arrival. We love you so much Bruce, Penny and family. We will miss you very much Penny. Wishing the family comfort and love,
The Gorby Family of Lewis Center Ohio
