Paul was so full of life and God. He couldn't help getting down to earth with in the first 10 mins. He was a great longtime friend of ours even if he was an aggie. Go Tech! We have so many memories together. He will be missed, but he is dancing in Heaven and maybe asking a few questions. Love you dear friend

It was a pleasure serving with Paul on the Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT) Annual State Conference Committee. He served SEAoT in numerous roles and was awarded the SEAoT Service Award in 2014 for his leadership and contributions to the organization. He was a great friend who was always willing to help.

Being at their house doing random silly stuff with Chris which included some of my favorite memories of us both trying to wrestle with Paul. He would always win but it is a great memory that I carry with me. In my younger years he was like a second dad for me.

Paul and I grew up as boyhood friends that continued through our college years even though he went to Texas A&M and I went to UT or as Paul would say t.u. We had lost contact over the years but fortunately we had re-connected a few years ago and it was just as we had never lost track of each other. The last 18 months were punctuated with marathon phone conversations and a few days together in our hometown of Amarillo, Texas. I couldn't begin to tell all the stories and adventures that we experienced; some were hilarious and some were hair-raising. Through all those years he never waivered from his love for God, his family and his friends. I am honored that he thought of me as a friend and I will sorely miss him. Rest in peace Paul.

Paul was a very unique man of many gifts including strategic leadership, a visionary, passionate, diligent, an unconditional love of family, and a force of nature with a love for Sherrye that honored God like no other.
Paul left quite an impressive legacy and one that many only aspire to have done so well. There is not doubt in my mind when Paul met God, God said "Well done my faithful servant - welcome home."
I will continue to celebrate Paul as the world was so much brighter and more beautiful with him in it.
I, among hundreds, will miss Paul for so many great reasons and I will leave you with "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened...Dr. Zeuss"

Paul was a leader and mentor to me for close to 20 years. He and I had many of heated discussions as two A drivers will, but I always had the up most respect for Paul. I will miss him dearly. My condolences go out to Sherrye and all his family.

Paul was a kind soul behind a charging bull personality. I will sorely miss his friendship. Blessings and comforts for his precious bride and family.

I meet Paul in 1997 while I was working on a project for the Port of Houston. Between 2000 and 2005 I had the opportunity to work with Paul at Delta Structural Technology designing composite wrap systems. Paul had a great team put together at Delta.
Paul and I worked on four SEAoT state conference's over the years.
Paul loved Texas A&M University and when we were working trade show's together, he would spot an Aggie ring down the isle and he would be on them in a jiffy.
Paul was a joy and inspiration to many people
I will miss Paul dearly and I am thankful that he is at peace with the Lord.
In response to "How did you first meet Paul?"
