Patrick Stanton Jones, a 5th generation Southern Californian, passed quietly on December 26, 2024 surrounded by his family after a battle with Crohn’s Disease and cancer. He fought the valiant fight and never complained.

Patrick was a Glendale resident who attended Incarnation School and Hillside School and graduated from La Canada High School. He also attended Glendale Community College. During his childhood, Patrick participated in youth soccer, was a Boy Scout, and also an altar boy.

Patrick moved to San Diego for a time to be close to friends living there. After a number of years he returned to Glendale but spent a portion of each summer working for the San Diego County Fair.

After retuning to Glendale, Patrick spent the rest of his life as a dog walker. He loved being outdoors and taking care of animals.

He was a gentle soul who loved his family and friends and was always ready to help anyone in need. He loved to travel especially with his family. His great desire was to visit Alaska, which he did on a family cruise just months before he passed.

He leaves behind his parents Stanton and Ann Jones, his sister, Melissa Harper, brother-in-law, Daniel Harper and two nephews, Henry and James Harper.

Patrick will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

A celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2024.
