Onoriode (Onos) Nancy Brisibi was born on 20 November 1970 at Marherhe Hospital, Ughelli, in Delta State, Nigeria to Apostle Ambrose Oproze Brisibi (of blessed memory) and Deaconess Mary Koko Brisibi of Aladja, Udu, Delta State, Nigeria. From the very beginning, her life reflected purpose, strength, and grace.

She began her early education in Warri, Delta State, and later attended Awori Grammar School, Agboju, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State, where she completed her secondary education. Her passion for learning led her to Delta State University, where she obtained both her first and second degrees in Economics. She was known for her diligence, excellence, and deep insight.

Beyond academics, Onos had a profound love for God and she lived a life anchored in Christ. Her faith shaped how she led, served, and how she loved people. She was a gifted and anointed worship leader and a true minister of the gospel. Her singing was not just a talent but a ministry through which she inspired, uplifted, and touched many lives. Her voice carried power, conviction, joy, and healing, and her ministry left an indelible mark on countless lives. She ministered under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, where her voice became a vessel of worship and spiritual impact. As a leader in the LoveWorld Music Ministry (LMM), particularly in the USA, she poured herself selflessly into the lives of those she led. She mentored with compassion, led with humility, and loved without reservation. She was deeply cherished by the LMM family, who saw in her not only a leader but a mother, encourager, and spiritual guide.

Beyond her ministry, Onos was full of life, warm, vibrant, and always full of joy and laughter. She had a unique charm, a playful spirit, and a way of bringing joy to every room she entered. Her humor, kindness, and authenticity made her unforgettable. She loved deeply, gave generously, and lived wholeheartedly.

Onos passion for music and ministry took her across nations, as she traveled around the world, ministering through songs and touching generating joy in the lives of many. She impacted countless lives with her voice and message of faith. She was well loved among the medical community at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where she ministered regularly to the patients and providers during her years in Chicago.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah; her mother; her siblings; and many others whose lives were shaped by her love, leadership, and faith.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Sarah, whom she loved deeply and cherished wholeheartedly. Her love for Sarah was evident in her care, sacrifices, and unwavering devotion.

Nancy was also a committed mentor, guiding many young people in music, career, and life. She gave freely of her time, wisdom, and encouragement, helping others grow and succeed. She was selfless, hardworking, and deeply compassionate.

Known for her wisdom and discernment, she was a trusted source of counsel to many. Her words were sincere, thoughtful, and always rooted in genuine care.

On 23 March 2026, Onoriode Nancy Brisibi transitioned to glory, after a long and hard-fought battle with illness, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, excellence, and mentorship. Though our hearts are heavy and words cannot fully express the depth of this loss, we take comfort in the assurance of her eternal rest in the presence of the Lord whom she loved and served so faithfully.

Her legacy lives on in her music, ministry, and in the many lives she touched.

Onos will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
