We are so sorry to hear about Niranjan's passing. He was such a gentle soul and a helpful person. We met Niranjan and his wife at Safeway few years back, after a decade. We had no idea he was undergoing such a life changing situation .

He has touched both our lives. His calm demeanor often helped the  employees to get back their confidence. Thank you , Niranjan for teaching us in so many ways.

Attached is Niran's mug shot. No, it's not what you're thinking! I was blessed to meet Niranjan at XImage, a startup that sold mug shot imaging systems to law enforcement around the country. Niran was young and inexperienced yet he picked up software development easily and wound up impressing us all with his output.

I have many memories of Niranjan, including surviving the Loma Prieta earthquake! When our building started to shake, Niran was sitting next to me. We looked at each other and immediately ducked under our tables. The next 45 seconds were pretty terrifying, but God smiled on us that day, and He continued to smile on Niran and his family in the decades to come.

Fortunately, all the other memories with Niranjan are wonderful. As many have noted, Niran's smile and laugh were contagious. Niran was smart, curious about all things, not afraid to take risks, and a kind and loyal friend. My heart goes out to Gina and the kids.

You are remembered and missed! Gina, I gave to Doctors Without Borders and hope that the good work you and Niranjan have started will continue on.
Prior to this past Saturday, I went through Facebook to find any pics I have of Niranjan, or pics together with Niranjan, but I couldn't find any. I appreciate the Rajaratnam family for putting together the slideshow for this past Saturday, and many others for sharing their pics prior on this website, as we grieved but also celebrated the life he had lived to the fullest.

Even though I have many fond memories with the man and the legend himself, the one that I cherish dear and near to my heart is how he taught me to eat and feast on the Word of God. As multiple people here have mentioned already, Niranjan, as well as Jina, played a vital role in serving and loving on the youth students at New Vision Church via Pathway. He taught my class brothers "hermeneutics" in Bible Study, helping us learn how to interpret and apply the text in to our lives. He was our bible study teacher during our sophomore year of high school. He taught the older brothers bible study prior - as I witnessed him from afar, I asked him to be our bible study teacher as our former teacher went off to college. He prayed about it, and said yes. Thank you for saying yes to us..

After youth group, as some of our brothers remained in Pathway as they attended colleges locally, he was our bible study teacher + mentor for another year, and I loved coming back to Pathway that one summer break to just to be in his presence. He taught me how to read, study, and cherish the Bible, and for that, I am forever indebted to Niranjan.

After the memorial service ended, someone cut in line as we were waiting our turn to say our hello's to the Rajaratnam family. While this is a huge pet peeve of mine, I thought in the moment, "What would Niranjan do?" Perhaps, it was because of Bob's sermonette, I imagined Niranjan saying, "hey man - it's not a big deal!"
Good bye for now, we will see you later. I "h8" you for not telling me how you enjoyed cigars from time to time - wish I had known earlier. Till the day we are united again in heaven - I hope they have cigars up there, because I would smoke one with you while studying His Word. Love you and miss you, Niranjan <3.

So sad to hear this and our condolences to Rajaratnam Family. Met Niranjan and Jina when I joined Creatus back in 1996. We were a small close group; and I have fond memories of the days. We stayed in touch for several years after. I will always remember his wisdom and kindness. We lost an exceptional leader and a wonderful person. Deeply saddened by this loss. Prayers and thoughts for the family. May God give you strength.

Words cannot express  the loss. Niranjan was a happy, postive energetic person. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers.
We are here for you in this time of grief and sorrow. May the Lord give you strength and peace in your time of need.
