My dearest Kimbee,  and lovely Emily,

I know why, now, I didn't reply as appropriate.  One, you knew I'd be attending--but that's a poor excuse, and coarse manners.  Please forgive me for that.

But, interestingly and to my own defense,  rsvp means "Respondez, s'il vous plait", literally--"answer, if you please".

So. I can answer now. 😑

It was a loving, heartfelt day. You offered a place that was safe for everyone to be vulnerable with their feelings. An immeasurable gift.

Peace and Love Always. ❤😇

To the family, our deepest condolences of losing Nick. Our hearts are heavy. We didn't get a chance to meet Nick, but after reading about him, we know he's someone special and one who would bring such positive energy to anywhere he goes. We send our love. Keith and Cecile Michaelis

I miss you.

I look forward to when I get the chance to see you again and tell you all the things I’ve meant to say to you these past four years. You’ve become my role model, from the way I present myself and interact with other people, to my perspective on the world and spirituality. You may not have known it, but you have helped me become the person I am today. Everyday, I think about you and remind myself to have a backbone and stand up for others the way you did and to not give a shit about what others might think. You have started a journey within me to learn to love myself and to take care of those around me. Strangers or not, it doesn’t matter. Regardless, they’re people who deserve someone who is willing to listen, just as you were to so many before.

And I have you to thank, for everything.

I love you, and never at any point has or will that ever change, even when we had our fights and arguments. You are and always will be my big brother.

Rest easy.

Kim and Erich and family..as I read this tribute, to Nick, my eyes are so full of tears!  Nick had so many nice qualities he shared with all who knew him! I remember how concerned he was to Erich's dad, always pushing him around in a wheel chair, when Mick had a hard time walking...a real "care taker" personality.  Nick will always have a place in everyone's heart and we will think about him, with a smile on our faces!  Rest peacefully, our dear Nick!

Dear Kim.  I am reading this through a rain of tears.  I am at a loss for words for you .  My heart , thoughts, and prayers are there with you .  All my Love and many hugs.

Elaine Spendiff

Nick always carried a smile, a beautiful heart and loving nature. He was witty, had a sparkle in his eye and I recall having great conversations with him about life, funny stories and will cherish his memory as a part of our family. ❤️
