I’m so lucky to have known Cameron! Cam introduced me to my boyfriend, Matt Leddy, almost 4 years ago. We visited Cameron in South Carolina a few times and made some great memories. Whether it was being woken up at 4 am to fresh oysters and clams from Matt and Cameron’s late night adventures, to fishing day trips on his boat. I’m forever grateful for his friendship!
Cam will be remembered forever by me and his UCSB family. He was such a bright light and I know that light is still shining down on all of us. Sending so much love to you Nagler family.

I have no one story that truly describes who Cameron was because it was the fine details in every story that made him who he was (in my opinion).

He was one of the kindest souls I have ever met and one of the wisest. He was patient, accommodating, thoughtful, encouraging and full of good intention.

I’ve never had a friend like Cameron, especially my age. Someone who shared a deep passion for understanding the world around him and the people within it. I feel fortunate every time I got to spend time with him in person or on the phone.. that’s all we did. Just try to understand. There’s a lot of people who are closed minded and unwilling to learn.. and Cameron was open to understanding; hearing what others thought as well as sharing his own insightful thoughts. He was unapologetically authentic and honest.. I could not have been more inspired by how he approached life.

I’m grateful to have to known him and have been impacted by his life. My deepest sympathy to his family and his loved ones.

I briefly knew Cameron during our video conferences with Band of Parents. Although our time spent together had been short I will always remember Cameron as an energetic, passionate, and enterprising young man. My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones, he will truly be missed by all of us.
You had a sharp mind and a kind heart, blessed to have known you. Rest easy brother, enjoy the perfect waves up there.
