Dear Preben, Madyson, Jennifer and family, and to Nathan’s close friends — we are deeply sorry for your heartbreaking loss. Nathan was an exceptional young man whose warmth, kindness, and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Madyson, your tribute was beautiful — a reflection of how deeply your brother was loved and how much he gave in return.
At family gatherings, no matter how much time had passed since the previous one, Nathan was always quick with a smile and a hug, and always happy to chat and share a laugh. We always enjoyed conversing with him, whether about sports, fishing, school and whatever else he was interested in at the time. He was always polite, respectful and articulate, and afterwards we would often remark on that, knowing it was but a reflection of just how well he was raised and loved by his parents. Preben and Jennifer, you should both be proud of the exceptional, happy, young man Nathan was and the love and guidance you gave that shaped him. May that and your many fond memories of him bring you comfort and strength in the days ahead.
Sending you all our deepest condolences and holding you in our hearts, with much love - Ellen and Mike.
