We're raising money to help support the Martell family during this difficult time. Our initial goal is for donations to help cover their unexpected immediate expenses as they make preparations for Miles and plans for his memorial.

Any donations beyond our goal will be used for continued support for the family, such as meal delivery, grief counseling, therapeutic services and activities, and travel costs to help keep them connected with loved ones.

With greatest sadness, we announce that Miles William Martell, age 24, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on December 18, 2024 by suicide in Louisa County, Virginia. He struggled with mental health issues for over ten years and will forever be in our hearts. Miles was born on July 28, 2000 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Rodney and Helen Martell.
