With greatest sadness, we announce that Miles William Martell, age 24, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on December 18, 2024 by suicide in Louisa County, Virginia. He struggled with mental health issues for over ten years and will forever be in our hearts. Miles was born on July 28, 2000 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Rodney and Helen Martell. He was a 2018 graduate of Maury High School and a 2021 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Miles will be remembered for his spirited, dedicated, and caring nature. He loved anime, video games, and creating music by collaborating with friends in person and online worldwide. He was a loyal employee at Arianna’s Italian Restaurant in Richmond and enjoyed racing around Richmond, delivering food to people. Family, friends, and co-workers will miss him deeply. He is survived by his parents, Helen Haller Martell and Rodney Paul Martell, and his sister, Emily Elizabeth Martell.

A memorial service will take place on January 11, 2024, at 2PM at Larchmont United Methodist Church in Norfolk, VA.
