A day out with Mike! He was always smiling! — with Michael Tsuboi

Remembering my Son on his birthday 🎉

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new

I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.

I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.

Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part.

God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart ❤️ Love & miss you …. Mom

Happy Birthday ~ We love you 🥰

I think about you every day Mike. Even though you were my investor guy I think we were friends. You always answered my calls to Hi Deb how's is going. I don't even know the new guy that's looking after my life. Miss ya Mike.

Deb

Hey dude - still live across from your old place and still hope to see the silver Mercedes. Think of you every time I go to the old office or drive by and I still have the washroom key. My son asks about you on Xbox. Thank you for pushing me to change jobs and try something else. Having a little tequila with you tonight, cause Negronis taste terrible, but damn you looked cool drinking them. Hope your well on the next adventure.

My sincere condolences to Mike's family and loved ones. He became a special friend to me recently in the Financial Services industry. Too soon, too young and so not deserving of such a short time on this earth. Hope you're playing hockey with the best of them Mike!

Moving from England, I met Mickey shortly after I met my now fiancé Steve. I’ve known him for just over 4 years, but to me, it feels like over 10. He was a constant support, and he believed in me. He was a rare soul and I miss him terribly.
We are so saddened by the passing of this extraordinary young man, who for a few of his teen years was like a third son for us. Precious memories that will never be forgotten ♥️.

So very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He took excellent care of our finances and it was a great shock to hear of his death.  Our condolences to his family, he was a lovely person.

Our sincere condolences to the whole family.  Mike was such a good friend to Greg.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. Always in our minds and hearts forever. We will miss you ❤️

I quickly realized how fortunate it was to cross paths with Mike. I met him in the Icon lobby, as he was interested in moving into our unit (having been a long standing resident in the building).  And instantly, I knew we had found a great human that was honest, kind, and cared about people.

Every time I’d visit to repair something in the apartment, Mike would never miss a beat to try and lend a hand. He’d share stories, tell me about his passions, and inquire about my life to provide me guidance. I could feel his genuineness and generosity. Every time, I would leave feeling inspired and ready to tackle life (along with adorable Leo’s hugs and kisses).

Two specific memories linger for me. One was when we put our heads together to unclog the shower drains. We hunted for de-clogging chemicals at London Drugs, took turns pumping the plunger, then hoorah’d in celebration when we heard the rush of flowing water. Second was a couple weeks before his passing.  He spoke to me about how cancer was impacting people in his life and how we must live life now (not later) because life is short.

Although I was his acting landlord, he treated me like a friend. He, in a short amount of time, made a big impact. I am terribly sorry to see him go, and send all of my sympathies and condolences. My family and I were fortunate to have Mike in our home and will continue to pray for him and his loved ones.

Warmly,

Sophia
