Mike was our financial advisor for quite a few years even though we live and work out of |Fort McMurray . We all took to Mike right away . He was "gentle" and kind . He was good at what he did . We are all so saddened to hear about his early passing and send all our condolences to his loved ones xo

I was deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Mike. Mike was such a genuine and fun-loving person, and it was always a pleasure to share ideas with him at corporate events. His presence will truly be missed.

Dear Harry,Gwen and Janet,
It is so hard to put into words how much Mike meant to our family and how much he will be missed.
From the first time he came to our home as a young teenager looking for friends we knew he was special! His big bright smile, kindness, generosity and love was felt by all our family.
We fell blessed that he was able to share Christmas dinner 2022 with us. We shared many memories and so much laughter.
Mike has touched so many peoples lives, he will never be forgotten.
We will forever miss him ❤️

Mike worked with me in White Rock as a twenty year old. He lived with knowing his heart was an issue but it didn’t hold him back. We worked together for almost five years and he was great but eventually he had to move along to grow, I was sorry to lose him then. My memories are many and all positive. He left us too early, we weren’t done with him.

On behalf of Glen Dodd's family we send you our heartfelt condolences. My brother admired Mike and spoke about him often. Glen was so proud of the fact that Mike was going to take over Glen's business so he could retire. He found his perfect replacement in Mike and when he spoke of Mike, he did so with admiration and tons of respect. I believe Mike was a good man and he deserves to be honored. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Knew Mike from day one when he moved in years ago. Always smiling, gentle and very friendly to every one in the Condo. It's hard not to notice Mike when he is the lobby with his lovely dog ,Leo. More than a resident to us. A buddy and a friend. Rest in peace, bro.

My son Cameron was a member of that cohesive group of guys that Mike was an integral part of. The list of memories is long and looking back I appreciate what a wonderful time it was watching these boys morph in to men and follow their own paths forward. Mike stood out as wonderfully kind and respectful…the kind of person a mother was happy to have her son be a friend of.
I was working in the Operating Room at VGH when Mike had his car accident. I would walk by the ICU every time I was on duty to inquire about his condition. The doctors and nurses employed every possible measure against seemingly insurmountable odds, to give his lungs and wonderful heart a chance to rest and heal. He amazed his team of caregivers and survived. His life was a gift and reading his many accomplishments and contributions, a gift he paid forward.
Eleanor Roosevelt once wrote, “Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends leave foot prints in your heart.” As Mike is remembered and his life celebrated, know that he still walks with you. God bless…

Jay and I would like to express our sincere condolences to Mike’s family and friends. We were fortunate to introduce Mike to the financial business in White Rock when he was a young fellow. His kindness and gentleness along with his integrity were strong character qualities. He was a good man❣️❣️❣️

I am heartbroken that so soon after losing my husband and Mike’s partner, Glen, that Mike has left us. He was deeply caring and supportive and was by my side every hour of every day through Glen’s battle with cancer and long hospitalization. Mike was like the son I never had. I extend my deepest condolences to his family. It was for too short a time, but thank you for sharing him with us. ❤️

2023, Canucks game
We will miss Mike a lot. My wife and I got introduced to Mike a few years ago by my friend Nathan when we were looking for a financial advisor. Mike met with us every Tuesday afternoon since then to help us build our financial plan and we he helped us tremendously but beyond that was always a bright in our week. Mike cared about about people and it came through in everything he did. Definitely one of the most trustworthy, kind and positive business people I've had to opportunity to work with. We will never forget Mike, his contagious smile and the sparkle is his eye for life.
