My condolences to Michael's family. I've known Michael since 2018 through Melee and throughout all this time, he was the one that pushed me the most in competition and I'll forever cherish that. On top of that, he was so kind and always a pleasure to be around. Rest easy, Steech.

I’m sorry Micheal passed away, I didn’t know him very well but I do remember him from high school and it’s really sad news to hear what happened.

Michael loved to banter with me. His stories and responses to my jokes were absolutely hilarious. We talked and explored any topic under the sun. Pokémon, types of noodles, exercise, engineering, whether or not anger is helpful, and all the ways to explore a city while traveling. I’ll never forget when we were in Detroit and I saw him outside of our hotel room on his way to explore the waterfront because it seemed peaceful and nice.

We walked around the apple campus and Michael spent a very long time trying to blow the seeds off of this dandelion. He got very out of breath and laid down flat on the sidewalk to catch his breath before completing his mission.

This was halloween. Michael dressed up as a pumpkin, and we went trick or treating. We got into a car accident on the way but still had a very good time. He wanted to deliver candy to his friends Marco and Nick, and we successfully completed the mission.
