We are so sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. We’ve been gone from Camarillo a long time, but have never forgotten his active care for our church community. May God and friends comfort you.
Mike was a giant when it came to demonstrating Christ love to others and how we should show Jesus through the way that we lived. MICHAEL was an incredible friend and loved one for all who knew him. We will all miss MICHAEL so much. I cannot wait till the second coming to be able to give and to get a Michael’s signature. Huge hug.❤️❤️🙏🙏
My heart is broken for you! We will all miss Mike so much! What a wonderful person, Christian, an instrument in God's hands he was. I always loved seeing how much he adored you, Susie. What a great example you both were for all couples! We are looking forward to the resurrection day. It will be something so incredible! You are in our prayers in the meantime. We know God has His comforting arms around each of you.
I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Potts and he was a pleasant caring boss. My deepest sympathies to his family who were also very kind. Prayers to you all.
I've known Dr. Potts since I was a little girl. My parents were friends at church with Mike and Susie so we saw them every week. He sang in the Men's Chorus with my dad and was quite active in church events. We love them like family. As time went on, I got to babysit for the boys and worked for him in 1994 as one of his dental hygienists. He was such a kind doctor and a wonderful boss. He cared about everyone. Gave of his time and talents on numerous occasions as well. One memory I won't ever forget is how he would dress up as Santa for the church Children's Christmas party. He did this every year and the kids adored him. My boys are in the picture on the left and they are now 25 and 28 so this was quite a while ago. Susie, Zach and Derek, our family's hearts break for you and we fervently pray for you all. Mike left a legacy in this world of giving, kindness and generosity. May we ALL strive to be as he always was. We love you Mike and will see you soon. <3 Love, Nick and Heather Caputo
Mike always gave attention to our kids. One time when Michelle was in Kindergarten, there was a father daughter bowling event. Reini was sick and couldn’t go. When I asked Michelle if she would like me to call someone to fill in as her “dad”, Michelle insisted I ask Dr. Potts. He didn’t hesitate to accept. He came immediately and bowled with Michelle.
