I am so sad to hear about Mike's death; my condolences to the extended Jaworski family, and especially Amanda, William and Valerie. The community will miss him. Warmly, Pam Fuller
I wish I had a photo of Mike eating a burger to share because the excitement in his stories about Lakeside General Store opening for the season and being able to go get a burger immediately came to my mind and brought me a smile. We unfortunately didn’t know Mike long enough but since we moved next door in 2023, he was always such a helpful neighbor from letting us borrow his wood chipper (shhh…even though it wasn’t his - thanks again for that lol), bringing down firewood and sitting by the fire on a nice night, to waving hello or stopping to chat when we were all out doing yard work. We always enjoy chatting outside and coming up to the porch.
Amanda, I am so sorry for your loss and we are a stone throw away if you ever need anything.
I only met Mikey once. After a day climbing in the Adirondacks with Armen, we met up with Mikey and a friend for a hike up to the summit of Giant Mountain. Even though he was already sick at this time and currently doing chemo, he set a blistering pace up the mountain, all while chatting, smiling and cracking jokes. We “healthy” guys could barely keep up with him. That one afternoon left a big impression, that he was a warm guy with a magnetic personality, and an incredible athlete. Rest in Peace, Mikey.
We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that we are thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
