Thinking about you on your 69th birthday my beautiful Mama & best friend!  I still think about you (and dad) every day - often when waking up, going to sleep & through the day. 

It was nice to talk with our family today who all also had you in their thoughts.  I’m in touch with many of your friends.  The dogs are doing great - I’m doing my best to keep them happy & loved the way you & dad did (including road trips & visits to various beaches and doggie parks).  

They say grief gets easier with time, but we’re just not there yet.  Recently my brother told me how he misses hearing his ‘birthday story’ from you (I told him my own version but it’s just not the same lol).  Your sister still says she doesn’t believe that we’ve lost you.  So many others have mentioned to me how much they miss your spiritual & inspirational messages, your laugh, smile & your big hugs!  I really miss your cooking too by the way (haha).  You taught and influenced so many of us & you will live on through us because of the foundational impact you had on us all.

I know you’re up there with dad, our grandparents & everyone else, all at peace in the heavenly kingdom.  It is there that we will find you one day again.  THANK YOU for so much that you gave us all.  You will NEVER be forgotten - not for even a day - my dear sweet  Mama.  As beautiful as you were in this life, it pales in comparison to the magnificent angel I feel & see in my dreams or when I look up to talk to you <3

My condolences to Maria's family. I first met Maria while working for MCI in 1998. We were not only co workers, as we had a genuine friendship and love for each other. Maria’s son Anthony brought her to visit me in Denver last year and I will forever be grateful for that!
