I’m so sorry to hear about Maria’s passing. Maria was friends with my friend Sarahs little sister, Kathrine, and she was over all the time and we’d all play. I remember her as a bright young little girl, with the biggest smile and I remember her laugh. I also remember her family coming into QCumbers where I worked a lot, and she was always so sweet. I’ll always remember her like this. It breaks my heart and your family is my thoughts and prayers ❤️

My heart goes out to all of you💔 I’m so very sorry for your loss. Maria will be so missed by so many she is such a beautiful person. My daughter Abigail Danced with Maria at VDP and with the Edina Hornettes. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Maria and I enjoyed conversation and laughs in July while walking around a lake and watching the sunset.  The whole time and into dinner, I kept thinking, "what a blast of fresh air you are, Maria!" I will miss you sorely, and miss out on getting to know you more.  Love and peace to you--sweet child and the brilliant woman you became-- and all those who love you.

I only met Maria a couple of times but I knew her her whole life through her wonderful loving mother, my dear friend, Jennifer. I felt Maria’s warmth and sparkling spirit. She was a treasure who will be with everyone she touched forever.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Maria. Maria was a student in one of my public health courses. We grieve with you, her parents, family and friends.  May your love and memories sustain you through this unbearable time.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Maria's passing. She was a student in two of my psychology classes at UMN. Thank you for sharing these beautiful images of Maria enjoying time with you and her passions in education, health, dance, and art. They clearly convey your love for each other. May that love give you some comfort and strength through your grieving. Your family is in my thoughts and heart.

It is with a very heavy heart that I learned of Maria's passing. She was a student of mine from kindergarten through 3rd grade at L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion School in Saint  Paul. As her principal, I noticed her for her energy, love for learning and desire to help.  May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may the family have the strength and fortitude to bear this loss!
