Marcella Lee, affectionately also known as "Pinky" , was born on September 17, 1956 and departed from this world on August 12, 2023. Born into a large, loving family, Marcella carried her welcoming nature and humorous spirit throughout her life, touching many lives with her warmth and inviting personality.

Survived by her son Durrell Lee, brother Michael Lee, sister Phyllis Knotts, brother Gary Butcher, sister Tonda Hawkins, and brother Marvin Brown, Marcella leaves behind a legacy deeply rooted in family ties. Mourning her loss are her friends and family who will greatly miss the sound of her laughter and her nurturing aura. She was also predeceased by her mother Jean Cubbage, father Ward Lee, sister Carmella Paris, and brothers Joey and Marty Butcher.

Marcella was a proud alumni of Oxford Area High School, graduating in 1975 and spent most of her life caring for others.  Her faith was a defining aspect of her life and she became a baptized witness July 7, 2007.  She was a regular attendee at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she brought her signature warmth and ease to her place of worship. She  enjoyed "door to door" witnessing and when she was unable to do so in person, she sent letters which was a true testament of her commitment to her faith. Although Marcella loved being a devoted Christian, her greatest love was her son Durrell whom she shared a very close bond with and always expressed how proud she was of him. 

Marcella's legacy extends beyond her immediate family and friends. She was "Aunt Pinky" to many, a person who brought humor and radiance to any room she entered. Her laughter, charm, and warmth are what her friends and family will remember most about her, ensuring her spirit continues to live on in the many hearts she touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Marcella's life will be held on August 27, 2023, at 4:00 PM at 3470 Gap Newport Pike, West Grove, PA 19390. This gathering seeks to honor and remember Marcella, who was a beacon of light and joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
