Graeme was my Squadron Sergeant Major in Tidworth. Always remembered him as a consumate professional. Firm but fair, but above all a gentleman. Sincere condolences to his family.  Fly high, Airborne warrior. Ubique!

Where to start? One goes through life journeying with such special people.  I guess we all know it's going to end at some point; but certainly not this early.  I met Graeme in around 1980.  I was an army nurse and he a 9 Sqn Royal Engineer and good friend of Nick, the man I went on to marry. My first impression of Graeme was of an intelligent, kind and generous person; which was at odds with  some of the army types at the time.  We went on to be good friends within our social group and enjoyed regular get togethers.  These were less frequent when he and Jenene moved to the US.  For me our times spent together were just so good and very precious.

I am thankful we saw Graeme last November when he and Jenene visited the UK.  A lovely few days were spent in Norfolk and he appeared to be his usual happy, relaxed self. I feel honoured to be considered one his friends over the last 45 years and am so sad that he is no longer with us.  I would have liked to join friends and family on 12th April, but the distance has made it impossible. I'll be thinking about Graeme particularly on that day.

Love to Jenene, Ryan and Megan x

I came to know Graeme through Pickleball. He was a consummate player and when paired  against him, I knew I was playing up. The news of Graeme's passing was a shocker.  To me he seemed the very picture of great health. My deepest condolences to Jenene and the rest of Graeme's family.
Completely devastated on hearing about Graeme's passing. One of the finest soldiers I served with and an outstanding human being. Will have a wee dram and a minute or two in quiet reflective thoughts on the 12th. RIP the G man.
My hearts and pray go to Graeme’s family 🙏🙏🙏
Love and hugs to Jenene and family, still can’t believe Graeme has gone , such a nice guy and great friends. We had such a great time in Edinburgh with you both for a couple of days, even after twenty years it was like old times in Germany. God bless and RIP Graeme. Xx 😘

Jenene and family,  Betty and I are feeling your loss. I did not no Malcolm that well but reading his obituary he was a smart and intelligent guy. We never think that we can lose a loved one that fast. I know you are a strong woman and will get through this. It’s sad that it takes something like this to talk to each other. God bless your family

To  Jenene Ryan Megan and family,  our most heartfelt condolences.  Judith and I were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of my cousin Graeme. Though it had been sometime since we have seen you or indeed Graeme in person, some memories never fade. I spent a good deal of childhood growing up with Graeme. Even though he and sister Moira moved around England due to his father's (uncle Derek's) career , we would spend periods of the long summer school  holidays together between my Aunty Margaret's and Aunty Connie's (our Mum's) houses. They were some of the best of times of my childhood years and I would like to think Graeme felt the same.   We were so proud to see Graeme make such a success of his move to the US and to find the love of his life  there.  He will sorely missed ,

All our love,  Stewart and Judith Tagg

Jenene and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Condolences from the Hilton Family!  Thanks Graeme for serving as a mentor, colleague and friend. You poured into this young Black male from the South and gave me opportunities and I am beyond grateful!!
I know Graeme and Jenene from pickleball.  They were always fun to play with, even if they usually beat the competition.  Graeme was a finesse player and always had a kind word for people, especially if their game could use some help.  A consummate gentlemen that will be greatly missed on the court.
Shared a heart Red heart

Jenene and family so very sorry for your loss.  Our heartfelt sympathy to you all.           Dave & Jan Dorenkamp

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I knew Graeme through playing field hockey, another of his talents, and being stationed together in Germany.

He was an excellent soldier who saw good in everyone and was liked by all who knew him.
