I remember the friendship we forged while building a mental health network.  You were so open to support and I remember the year you sent me a devotional book.  I still have that beautiful book.  Thank you. And I know you are in a better place for this 60th birthday!
My Dear friend Lynda.  We had such great times together at Prudential Healthcare and later at Aetna.  While we did not talk often, we could always pick right back up where we left off.  Thank you for the daily prayer and devotional you gave me back when we worked together.  You and I talked a lot after I lost my parents and you lost your Aunt.  And that was only three years ago and now my friend you are in heaven with Jesus.  I know you were a miracle to so many in the times you were ther for them.  Praying for your brother as I know you were close.  You made a difference!  Love you,

Linda was my neighbor. We would pass each other walking our dogs and she had such command over her fur babies that they did not need to be on a lead. She had a beautiful understanding of their individual needs allowing them to be free to explore and yet she remained the leader of the pack giving the security dogs need. I am so happy to hear they were rehomed together.

As for Linda's personality, she just glowed. A beautiful smile and a joy for life. She treated everyone as her best friend. It was walking her dogs that I found out about her cancer. She was sitting on the curb on Taylor Rd. I asked her if she had fallen and she said she was tired. She had pancreatic cancer which had made her eyes jaundice and my heart just broke. How come bad things happen to good people. A couple of months later, when the jaindice went away, I thought maybe she would beat this as she was joyful and full of peace and hope in her understanding of this illness. Everytime I walked by her house I sent a hopeful prayer her way.
I miss seeing her and her beautiful dogs. Her presence is a void in the neighborhood.

Aunt Lynda did not want sympathy or pity from anyone. We are encouraging everyone that loved her to not send flowers, but consider a donation to a cancer organization or an organization dedicated to saving/rescuing animals.
