Obituary for Luke Timothy Bogacz
Bonita Springs, Florida
Luke Timothy Bogacz, 24, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday,
January 11, 2025, at Lee Health - Coconut Point. He was born on February 17, 2000, in FortMyers, FL, to Timothy F. and Jamie A. (Robbins) Bogacz. A lifelong resident of Bonita Springs, Luke graduated from Estero High School, Class of 2019. Luke was an Alter Server for St. Leo’s Catholic Church for many years. While still in high school, Luke began working at Bonita Bay Marina, a job he continued to enjoy until the time of his passing. As a forklift operator, he showed dedication to his work, and his commitment to excellence was admired by all who knew him.
Luke was passionate about many things. He loved the water, spending countless hours boating and watching sunsets. He was also a devoted fan of NASCAR, and held a deep loyalty to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Auburn University, (War Damn Eagle) as a football fan. A frequent patron of Chick-fil-A, Luke earned platinum status and was so dedicated that he was even invited to their corporate offices in Texas due to his impressive accumulation of points.
Luke is survived by his parents, Timothy and Jamie Bogacz of Bonita Springs; his brother, Max and his girlfriend, Kamryn, also of Bonita Springs; his maternal grandparents, James and Sally Robbins of Bonita Springs; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Bogacz of Bonita Springs. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Jason (Kim) Robbins of Cumming, GA, Cathie (Jason)McCormick of Bonita Springs, FL, Victoria (Shannon) Rhodes of Bonita Springs, FL, Bobby Bogacz of Bonita Springs, FL, and Jane (Josh) Humphreys of Wolcott, IN, along with many loving cousins and extended family.
Luke’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Leo the Great Auditorium, 28350 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134.
