While he loved spending time in nature and playing pool, the most important thing to Mr. Kim was his family and his grandson Rhys who meant the world to him.
Lorin was preceded in death by his parents Moon Kyu Kim and Pan Dong Park, his oldest brother Soon Bong Kim, and his oldest sister Soon Ye Kim. He is survived by his 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and their families.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9am to 10am on June 20, 2022 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA. A memorial service will also follow at the funeral home. Then there will be a private inurnment ceremony for family members only at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
While funeral flowers are welcome, the family asks that any donations in Lorin's memory go to the Living Branches Sharing Fund (select Designation: "Dock Woods / The Willows Sharing Fund" at https://livingbranches.org/do…) Most of all, the family asks those who wish to express sympathy to honor Lorin's life by performing acts of kindness towards others, which is what he wanted most in this world.
His family would like to thank the hospital staff who cared for him in his final months, especially the nurses, and extend their gratitude to Dock Woods staff and residents for providing him with a peaceful home and community.
