I did not know Linda as just Linda. It was always Linda and Karen and then Linda and Karen and Kelly. What I learned from Linda and Karen is that a loving couple creates a kick ass kid. Coming from a conservative background this was a very important thing for me to learn.
I cherish memories of Linda Quinn on the Whaley Middle School’s campus. A burst of energy comes close to what I would describe as her joyful personality. We worked closely together during her last years in education. There was not one task that Ms. Quinn could not do; she would move on and complete it. She was our God-sent digital instructor; Quinn captured every moment of interest. Away from the sounds of students, Quinn embraced my family as her family. We felt like Karen and Kelly were our family because Quinn brought life to them in our world. Each time I think of Quinn’s absence in this realm, I think about a memory of her smiling and working diligently by my side. Rest well, Ms. Quinn, because you were one faithful servant. God Bless you. ❤️
We have been going through so many pictures…each picture brings so many memories, tears, laughter, and love. We loved Linda so very much! She and Karen have been a part of our family since 1993. We have many more pictures we will share from over the years from visits to the court where Linda worked with Pete.. to being a part of Kelly’s adoption day, birthdays, and many visits.
We love you Karen and Kelly and we will always and forever be here for you. You are our family.
I only learned of Linda's passing a few days ago, and haven't posted here yet because I wanted to find some pictures of Linda to share. After spending hours wading through grade school, middle school, and sports photos, I realized I don't have a single picture of her because she was always behind the lens. Steph and I did some reminiscing about the impact y'all had on our lives- how easy it is to forget when you drift apart- and I just want to thank you all and say how grateful I am to have known Linda, to have spent so much time at your house and on the soccer field, and have made so many wonderful memories together. She was an incredible life force and it stings to know she's gone. Thank you Kelly for creating this site. I don't mean it as a cliche when I say "May her memory be a blessing." Sending you both so much love.
