My family and I first met Sister Jimdar when she moved to Beacon and began attending our congregation during the pandemic. One of my favorite memories is doing telephone witnessing together over Zoom. Whenever someone dialed a number that had a double digit—like 00 or 22—Linda would delight us all by playing a quick little tune on her harmonica. This cheerful tradition continued until one day she announced that her harmonica had decided to relocate to the West Coast.
Linda’s love of music and her wonderful sense of humor brought joy to all of us. Though most of our time together was virtual, my daughter and I were especially grateful for the kindness, patience, and empathy she showed while teaching us piano through FaceTime. Her friendship was a true blessing, and she is deeply missed. (John 11:35; Ps. 56:8). But we look forward to Linda being reunited with you, her family, and then us being able to see her again soon—in person, happy, healthy, and full of life and music—on a Paradise earth, just as Jehovah and Jesus promised. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28, 29; 11:26)

My deepest Condolences to the Jimdart Family.. We all truly loved Linda the moment she came to Ossining. Her love for Jehovah, the ministry, the friends was obvious, and Music… When I sat near Linda while she was singing, it made my bad singing voice sound good. I have a video of Linda in our car group visiting a elderly sister to encourage her, she had a piano, Linda got on the piano played a few of the sister favorite songs and we as a group sung all together, the sister eyes and voice lit up!! Linda did that!! Linda is in Jehovah’s perfect memory, and we can all sing together when soon Jehovah will awaken her from her sleep! We all love and miss Linda..

Thinking fondly of our brief time with Sister Jimdar when she was with the Somers NY Congregation. Her reputation was legendary. Mom knew of her back in Ketchikan so when she landed in Somers we had an instant friend. She was a force of nature in the ministry. It was a joy being with her. Our thoughts are with Ronnie and Roxanne, and the entire Jimdar family. Your brother and sister in the faith, Steve and Laura Sadowski

I am so appreciative of the memories of Linda that were shared during her memorial service. Linda came to Beacon when we were all on Zoom so I didn’t get to know her well. Memories of her harmonica are epic! I look forward to seeing her in Paradise 💗

Dearest Jimdar Family. I’m so sorry that your dear Mom & Grandmother has passed away. She was such a lovely person, with a beautiful personality and a WONDERFUL singing voice (as my sister & I learned the hard way attempting to sing next to her ☺️). She will be sorely missed, but she won’t have to rest too long, we’ll see her again soon. She enjoyed dancing, as you know. We’ll sing and dance “in the new world to come.”

Linda was a very dear friend. We shared some beautiful times together. When we studied for weekly meetings we loved to do extra research. We enjoyed sharing each others poetry too. Being with Linda was always faith strengthening. I look forward to being with her in Jehovah’s new world to come. —Stephany Raffio

Dear Ones....Please know you are all in my prayers. What a "Grand Day" it will be to welcome your mom, grandma, sister, aunt and our precious friend back in perfect health! It is a promise from Jehovah and very, very soon he is going to make this all better! It is then that Isaiah 65:17 will be a reality! We will not remember all the sad times ..🌸 Thinking about you all🌸 ~Teresa & Melissa/Arizona~
