I met Linda at the Senior Center, while we were Wii Bowling. We sat at the same table at lunch with the liveliest group there. We moved 2 tables together as there were too many of us at the same table. We went to the EVOLVE classes together at the AARP HQ, in 2016-17. Later, I cooked up some of my corn-rye pancakes with olive oil, at her house, and Dallas begged for the pancakes. Linda said she hadn’t seen Dallas beg for food for ages! I played chess with Linda, Elizabeth, and Isaac, when Elizabeth and Isaac came to visit from Texas. Linda wanted a pear tree, so I planted 2 pear trees in her yard.  Linda helped me a lot.

From Dora Harris:

I was so sorry to hear about Linda's passing. I never met her but we both worked for EDS. I live in Nova Scotia, but she made me feel as tho we were neighbors. She will be sorely missed.

From Gene McCracken:

I met and got to know your mother a little in an AARP series of classes five or six years ago. Carson was in 8th grade. A fine person! Grateful for that connection with her in this interconnected web of life.

From Betty Turley:

David so sorry for your loss. I remember your Mom coming over to our house when I was little and being so kind. May your memories comfort you.

From Sandra Waters Horning:

I met Linda at Parents Without Partners many years ago. She was always fun to be around. And when she laughed it was from her toes up! So sad to hear of her passing! Hugs to her family!

From Gordon R Shinn:

So sorry for your loss and prayers for the family

From Sharon Tait Gates:

I am very sad to hear of Linda Beltrame Chivers passing. She was a sweet soul. I loved our talks and the occaisional road trips and lunches out. I was missing her a couple of weeks ago and not knowing what had been happening left a message for her to call me. I drove within a block of her home earlier this week but it was late & I didn't want to bother her. If I'd have known she was in hospice, certainly I'd have visited her at Taylor House. She was a dear, dear friend. My sympathies to her family.

From Michelle Brown:

I was so sad to hear this. We used to work together. She was always so sweet and one of my favorite people to talk to. Rest in peace friend

From Maureen Shevlin Foley:

My dear friend I just mailed you a "Thinking of you" card this morning after I realized you hadn't been on Facebook in awhile. You were a great friend to me and my family. We had some good times "and some not so good " working at Greyhound! My prayers go to all your family. I will miss our "talks"

From Karen Fett Shinn:

Linda was a dear, dear friend. I have so many wonderful memories of our times together. Most of all she was a loving and devoted mother. My heart breaks for her family.

From Carmie Vitiritto Bush:

So sorry for your loss. Linda and I went to Elementary school at Visitation and High school at St Joseph Academy together. Had alot of fun with her.

From Marilianne Brooks:

Linda was a gem. Always there with a pleasant smile and kind words. The world will be a little duller without her. Comfort and joy to all of her friends and family.
