Lee has been apart of my life since she was my babysitter. She taught a Sunday school class that was very popular. We stayed in touch and wrote letters. She was such a a good friend, confidant, a constant source of love and energy. Her presence in my life helped me be a better person. Words can't express my love for her. What a power house. She was true to her convictions, "she walked the walk and talked the talk". Love was her message and caring for others was her gift. Dogs, she loved dogs too. She gave me so much that I can't really thank her for, but I can pay it forward. I love you, Lee

I knew Lee from a book study group.

Always enjoyed her stories and admired her experience , strength and hope!

She was generous, kind and loving person.

Lee came to my auto repair shop in the summer of 2021. She was truly sent to me by God's divine intervention. I was going through a vastly unfair, rough time because of a failed short term marriage a few years after a failed long term marriage. I was floundering and facing some ugly consequences. I do not normally share personal details to 'the public' at work. But Lee...you know...she has a way. I did substantial repairs to her Ford van and during that time and was adopted by her like the cool aunt I never had. Not a court decree type adoption, but she would come by with a bag of food every couple days, stay and chat and encourage me and share experiences of her own past relationships for guidance. And encourage me to pray. Over the months she continued stopping in. She even brought her gardener a couple times to revamp my planter pots in front of the office! I always enjoyed her company. She would text, call on occasion and participate on Facebook. I truly miss her and will think fondly of Lee's memory, as long as I am able to remember.  I pray for Lee's family in this difficult time and thank all of you for sharing her with me.

May happy memories help lesson your sorrow during these difficult days. Those who live in our memories are never truly gone.  May your family find comfort in God and the sympathy expressed by your friends and family.
