What a beautiful & loving tribute to a dearly loved father & grandfather.  What's more,  it is not an exaggeration, every word of it is true. We know that he was not perfect  because none of us are, but there are probably very few people who knew him who had  not been a recipient of his kindness,  myself included. Above all, he came to know & be known by Jehovah. His future life prospects rest securely in Jehovah's hands. Our love to all of you, you'll be in our prayers.

When my family and I moved to the Olympia Fields congregation, brother Leon Sanders and the Sanders family took us as one of their own. Brother Sanders made sure we had enough produce for the year from his farm. He had a heart of gold and would be greatly missed by my family and I. Song 151 "He will call, the dead will answer. They will live at his command. For he will have a longing for the work of his own hand. So have faith, and do not wonder, for our God can make us stand. And we will live forever, as the work of his own hand".
