I came to Sinai in May of 2002 and is one of the many who were blessed to have Ms Diane as the CNO.
Despite the authority of her position, she always exuded a warm, welcoming and inclusive presence. Through the Nurse Advisory Council that was very close to her heart, I saw in her the sincerity of wanting to listen to her constituents. Although there were some answers that we did not want to hear, she was always honest in her responses and spoke with integrity and finesse.
Thank you, Ma’am for the inspiration and the role modeling. Thank you for the faith and above all, thank you for believing in us!
May you rest in peace knwoing that you have touched and made a difference in the lives of many.

Mrs Johnson was my first CNO after a 26 year career in the Navy. She was a wonderful CNO, great human being, and became an amazing friend. She celebrated and worked hard with you, oh those late night meetings in her office.😊 My favorite memories is us sharing how much we loved our children. We will always remember Diane and Willie beautiful smiles at our wedding.
My condolences to Willie and Kelli, you were so adored by her and her love is a legacy that will last forever. Diane, I am so thankful we kept in touch, I will love you always, will remember your smile, and I am thankful to God that he allowed our life stories to intersect.

It was a privilege to get to know Diane as a neighbor and friend. I learned so much about her by reading her beautiful obituary. What a well-lived life she led. Prayers continue for all of Diane's family. May many happy memories help sustain you all in the days ahead.

I loved when your mother was Director of Nursing at Sinai. She listened to her nurses and knew us by name. Diane enhanced the nursing profession in her years at Sinai. I am sorry for your loss.

I am one of the many nurses of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, who was inspired and motivated to work and accomplish who I am today by the outstanding leadership of Ms. Diane Johnson. Just like Ms. Diane, I am a migrant nurse. I am one of the Filipino International Nurses directly hired by Sinai Hospital twenty years ago.
Thank you, Ms. Diane for all your dedication and hardwork when you were CNO at Sinai Hospital. You are well remembered because of your exemplars as a leader, motivator, coach, speaker and nurse. May your soul rest in peace and your loved ones be comforted by God Almighty. I will remember you in my prayers, Ms. Diane. Rest easy.
