I was at a loss for word when I heard the news of Larry's passing. He was such an amazing and compassionate person. I thank you both for the experience working at OPT and the memorial bench for Dustin at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
J'Anna, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  Larry was a great guy, who was also a great friend to the therapy profession.  His efforts will be missed, but he left a great legacy of advocacy.  Personally and on behalf of NWRA 's membership please know that we appreciated his leadership and support.  Our deepest condolences on his passing.

J'Anna - we were so sorry to hear of Larry's passing.  What a guy!  He was so helpful in PPSIG, and helping us all navigate the billing and reimbursement nightmares!  We really appreciated him; and also looked to your family for guidance in practice and retirement. Thank you! We won't forget him!
So sorry to hear of Larry's passing, J'Anna. Our  AHS 1970 class  is dwindling much too fast......Hugs to you and your family.  Linda Salisbury  Belden
I so appreciate the opportunities Larry (& J'Anna) provided for me. Tanya and I have been and will continue to have J'Anna, Joni and family in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry showing Theo why we got up super early. Fishing in jammies made it even better.
Larry always had youthful outlook on life. He was showing us an eagle nest on Shaw Island. In order to really see it, we were told to lay on the ground. Soon we saw some tail feathers and then it looked like snow falling. Apparently eagles don’t like to mess up their nest! As we scrambled to our feet, the laughter could be heard for miles!

Larry and JAnna were a formidable team, both on and off the boat. When they attended any Grady-White fishing tournament we knew it was going to be tough. Our friendly competitions included sharing favorite fishing spots and techniques, and we always cheered each other on. JAnna and I would laugh and say “we don’t care who wins, as long as it’s a woman”.
Early on it was obvious that Larry and JAnna we’re teammates in every aspect of life. Anyone could clearly see that they loved each other.
JAnna, my heart aches for you during this hard time. May you take comfort in remembering you had something that many people strive for and never achieve, a partnership based on pure love and respect. Larry was a humble, gentle soul, and we will miss him. We are honored to be your friends and hope that you know we are here for you. Jeff and Tamara Melvin

Larry's memorable smile and infectious wit will definitely be missed on the docks here at Elliott Bay Marina.  He was always there to teach us how to fish, crab and shrimp and be resourceful.  There are many stories to tell over the years.  I think my favorite was the time we went fishing with Larry and J'Anna with our son Theo when he was 3.   Larry was so patient with Theo and let him reel in a fish even at the risk of losing it ( we netted it before it got away).   We recently caught a beautiful Coho and looked to the heavens and said, "This one is for Larry."
Larry was a wonderful man, always helpful, always informed. He was such a strong contributor to our PT association. He will be missed by so many people. Craig Kopet
I'm so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. My heart goes out to you, J'Anna, and to the rest of your family. I have fond memories of working with Larry, primarily as our payer liaison but also as an engaged member of the physical therapy community. I will not be able to attend the memorial event but will be there in spirit.
Larry had a warm smile that he gave freely, he was a great conversationalist & excelled in being “present” for family & friends. I’m not sure if he ever met a stranger. Anytime we went to an awesome Simon get together – Larry & J’Anna were there to be involved in their grandkids lives and share in the memories. Our family always looked forward to seeing them & spending time. He will be so missed. So sorry for your family’s loss.
Remembering Larry brings a smile through the tears of sadness. We’ll miss him always and will remember the goodness he spread in so many ways. His smile was contagious. His integrity inspiring. His commitment to fairness was extraordinary. The only thing he loved more than fishing (and excel spreadsheets) was his family and co-leading OPT into the the awesomely successful company it became. It’s been an honor to be a part of his life and the OPT family. Our love for him will remain in our hearts. Much love to J’Anna, Joni and family.
As Lisa Devlieg stated, “I don’t know how Larry looks like without a smile.” This is also my memory of Larry. Working as a PT at OPT was my first job as a new graduate. Larry and J’Anna were always supportive and caring. Larry was a class act and I’m so very fortunate to have known him. My sincere prayers and my heart’s condolences during this time. ❤️
Will always remember that ever ready beautiful smile and his joy for life, his family and grandkids and anything to do with boating and fishing!
Just a lovely human being…
Such a pleasure to know you and Larry over the many years here at the marina. He was a real class act, honest shooter and sincere. We will all miss him. Our thoughts are with you and your family Jana.

Sincerely,
Dwight Jones & EBM Family
