As this event is outside, we are not asking people to wear masks. However, if you are more comfortable wearing one, please do. We will have some disposable masks available should you need one, and will also have hand sanitizer available.
When you arrive at Sanborn Park, follow “Kyle” signs to the Sequoia Group Area. See Park map here: https://www.sccgov.org/sites/…
Unfortunately, cell service is quite limited at the Park. Expect to have no or limited service.
For those of you who can’t make it or know anyone who is unable to attend, we encourage lightning a candle in Kyle’s honor on August 6th.

If you have not already RSVPed, please do so on the website or directly to Carla or Kendra.
Feel free to arrive as early as 3pm. At this time, you can view memory boards and tables on display, listen to some of Kyle’s music, and gather together. There will also be blank memory boards that you can add to (photos, write a verse, song lyric, words, memories to share).
Although there is plenty of parking, carpooling is encouraged. We will have pre-paid parking permits at the main entrance upon your arrival. Seating is also limited, so please bring your own chair if you are able.
We would like everyone to dress comfortably and casually. We encourage you to wear blues or greens, or any attire specific to how you knew Kyle (Discovery tie-dye, Mitty or Gonzaga gear, etc.)
We thank you for coming to this event as we pay tribute to Kyle. We welcome you to stay afterwards to visit and enjoy the grounds; the park closes at sunset so feel free to bring a picnic dinner if you would like.
