Updates

Update from Sept. 16, 2023

As we continue to honor Kyle's life, we are asking friends and family to share with us stories, memories, anecdotes, or inspirations that will help us to remember him. We will be creating a Legacy book that encapsulates Kyle's life; it is our intent to use this as a way to preserve our memories of him and share who he was with everyone, especially his nephew James and niece Evelyn, so they can know all about their amazing Uncle Kyle.

Some ideas might be:
-Kyle in one word
-Something Kyle inspired you to do
-Favorite memory/memories
-Something my kids should know about Kyle
-Something that always reminds you of Kyle
-Any favorite photo, song, or place that reminds you of Kyle with a short description of why it is special

Please text, message or email me, or my parents with anything you would like to share. Take your time, this is a slow work in progress. If you could send it by the end of 2023, that would be great.

Thank you for keeping Kyle in your heart ❤

Hello,

We wanted to share that a plaque has been installed in Kyle's memory on a bench in the Timothy M. Brosnan Prayer Garden at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. See the link at the bottom of this posting to view a picture if you would like.

A special spot in a sacred place where we’ve both called home.
For every student who passes by or simply needs to roam.
Take a seat, he’ll lend an ear and be as present as you wish.
If you need a moment, he’ll be right there; his kind soul is hard to miss.

Update from Sept. 10, 2021

Dear friends and family,

Kyle's 25th birthday would have been September 14th. Please take a moment on that day to remember him in any way that is meaningful to you, whether it be to light a candle, perform a kind deed, reflect on a favorite memory, console a friend, listen to music, take a walk, enjoy nature, give someone a hug. We appreciate any gesture to acknowledge his life and all that he gave us.

In addition, September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Here is a link with some helpful information:
