Kristina Ellis was one of the kindest people I ever met. I was a contractor at Novellis with the Compensation team. She was so easy to work with and always treated me with such respect and caring. On my last day, she brought her darling girl, Katie, who was just a baby, in so that I could meet her. I am so very sorry to see that Kristina has passed away. My heart goes out to her family--what a tremendous loss!

Kristina was a beautiful person inside and out. She managed everything with style and grace. The sparkle in her eyes showed her vibrancy.
She was an amazing colleague. She spent time with teammates discussing work but also connecting with them on a personal level, sharing the ups and downs of life. She was a deeply thoughtful person who could always find a unique gift for each member of the team.
Even in her most difficult days when she was admitted to the hospital, she was thinking of others. She asked her wonderful parents to bring Chick-fil-A breakfast for the staff and her parents obliged even through their own pain during cherished last days with her.
At one point I texted her a wish for a pain free day. She replied: "A pain free day sounds amazing. I'll take one. Actually I'll take 16,000 of them!" How quickly she did the math to get herself to 88 years old. Yes, Kristina, that is what we all wanted for you!!!
I, who knew her just over a year, miss her greatly. I met the "short hair" Kristina and thought she was so beautiful. She was easy to love and gave love freely. How much it must be multiplied for all those who were closest to her.
She was truly an angel among us...and she was taken from us far too soon.

Kristina was truly one of a kind – a person who immediately earned your respect. Her remarkable knowledge and professionalism shone brightly from the very first moment you met her. I recall all of us expressing the same sentiment: 'We need to hire her!' And indeed, we did need her.
Our team was in need of a leader, someone we could rely on as an anchor. Kristina, though humble, exuded a quiet strength that left us in awe. She achieved remarkable things, leaving a legacy that shaped our compensation team. Let me tell you, she genuinely cared. I can recall numerous instances when she pondered how she could mentor or assist a team member. She consistently invested time in creating comprehensive training plans and onboarding processes.
Seeing her portrayed as Wonder Woman on this site feels entirely fitting because she was, indeed, a superhero. She had the ability to make everyone around her feel special. She was someone I could always count on, and she's the reason we have the best HR system at Novelis. My thoughts are with Toby, her children, and her family during this difficult time.
Kristina, thank you. You made us better, and your memory will forever live on in our hearts.
