How you can help

Best known for his dedication to the world of athletics, Coach Kohlmeier is that coach who saw magic in everyone. No matter your talent, no matter your athletic ability...4'11" or 6'3, he was adamant about encouraging his team, his students, his peers and his family to be the best they could be.

If there's one thing we learned from Coach K, it's that practice doesn't make perfect... but it builds work ethic and character.
Never give up and practice, practice, practice.

Any athlete who ever had him as a coach knows that he was the King of Fundraising for the season's uniforms and equipment. Car washes, bake sales, TV show tapings back in the 90's where we'd all sit in the audience and clap on cue. We always had the best jerseys - our names and numbers stitched on the back like we belonged in the big leagues.

When trying to think of what Coach Kohlmeier would have wanted to contribute to the world he knew, we thought it was appropriate to create a fundraiser that would go towards the expenses of Hoover High School's Softball & Boys basketball programs. Our hope is that for years to come, these donations will help with those costs.

He lived for the game and now, in his passing, we'd like to keep the game going by launching this fundraiser.

Coach K, you will forever be our coach.
With Love,
xoxo
