Maddie and Everett - I am so heartbroken by and sorry for your loss. 💔 You know this, but Kelly had this unbelievable way of making people feel seen, special and happy. And present- when I was with Kelly, I never wanted to be anywhere else but in that moment or conversation. Maddie and Kelly hosted Matt and I for drinks the month of our wedding, and he was so kind/empathetic on a tough day that Matt cried tears of comfort (while sipping on a Kelly-made negroni that we still talk about). Kelly truly changed the lives of the people around him, and the Kelly / Maddie duo was one of a kind. You two were so in sync and dynamic - it was a joy to be around. I hope to meet Everett one day & see the boy and man he grows up to be. No doubt, he will be loved and surrounded by stories of his special daddy. Sending love and comfort. Karen & Matt

Incredible sadness, deepest condolences to all of the Maddens. Such a good person and a joy to have watched him grow up playing hockey and baseball as a youth thru high school. It was extra special to have coached him in baseball.
He always had a way of putting smiles on everyone's faces. He will be missed by everyone who were lucky enough to get to know him.

I remember that first moment when I saw Kelly’s smile across the hallway as Matthew moved in to the dorm at Williams. I somehow knew Matthew would find a forever friend in Kelly. His spirit and joy for life was infectious. Today and forever more all of us who knew him will carry that spirit and joy in our hearts. The world is a little less brighter today without Kelly. Sending hope that as you move through the days and weeks to come, you will be lifted up by the many memories you shared together.
