Kathleen Ann Brown,61, passed away peace-fully of natural causes ather home in Sarasota, FL on February 10, 2022 Kathleen, also known as 'Brownie' and 'Kate,'was born inErie, PA onFebruary 19,1960 and spent most of her life be-tween the Shenango Valley and Sarasota, FL .Kate was of thePresbyterian faith.
Kate graduated fromHickory High School,Hermitage Pa in 1978 and worked in the service industry, in various capacities, all of her life.Kate had a wonderful sense of humor and loved entertaining her family and friends. She lovedhelping the elderly andhad a very soft spot for allof God's creatures.
Kate had an eye for dec-orating and took great pride in caring for her home, which included her large and admired collection of orchids.
Kate is survived by her mother, Sally J. Brown,Hermitage, PA; and hersisters Kimberly S. Driggers (Jimmy), Sarasota,FL, and Sherry L.(Brown)Graban, Sharon, PA; and her brother Bradley D.Brown(Cherie), Hermitage, PA. Also surviving are five nieces,Jennifer Basner(Brian)Tabernaccle, NJ; SarahWilsen(Zach), Sarasota,FL; Bailey Brown, Her-mitage, PA; Paige Brown,Canfield, OH; and KateBrown, Hermitage, PA;six nephews, Eric Fleming(Carly), Jacksonville,FL; Shawn Fleming(Autumn), Sarasota, Florida;Brian Winiecki (Jennifer), Sharpsville, PA;Jason Fleming(Dayne),Venice, FL; Matthew Graban(Christine), Fowler,OH; and Alexander Kim,Sarasota, FL; two great-nieces, Nadia and Eden;and eight-great nephews,Tyler, Cole, Chase, Ca-den, Luke, Jaxson,James and Henry. Also,her much loved KityKity.
Kate was preceded in death by her father, Ed-ward D. Brown.

At Kate's request the family will celebrate her life in a private family gathering by the waters of the Gulf near her home in Sarasota on April 16, 2022.
The Family requests that any memorial contributions be made in Kate's memory to the American Diabetes Association, the Humane Society or to a charity of one's own choosing.
The Family would like to thank, with much appreciation, those that have made a generous contribution in Kate's memory.
