We were the bash brothers. Tequila cowboy. Took away all my cares about martial arts with simple words. Made some good music too. Not as good as yours though buddy. Really wish more people heard you. Hope Texas was good to you. Catch you on the other side

Miamisburg Class of 09. Thank you for being my friend and always sharing your smile and laughter. You were a ray of sunshine everywhere you went.

I knew Justin from high school youth group - I nicknamed you “Justin with the swoopy hair” :-). His quick wit, jokes and energy could literally light up any room. He made everyone laugh and feel welcome. I was so blessed to know him and will always cherish the memories. You will be so missed, Justin—but I know you’re lighting up Heaven now just like you did here.

Rest in peace my friend! Some great memories of epic, camps and mission trips years ago.

Justin was so special to me. His energy was infectious—he never met a stranger, and his laugh, his smile, and his warm hugs are things I’ll never forget.
Some of my favorite memories are the simplest ones: driving around with no destination, just to listen to Serial together. We’d talk for hours afterward, sitting in the car like the world could wait.
I remember starting The 10th Kingdom with him, totally skeptical, and ending up obsessed—because of course he had great taste. I’ll never not think of him when I hear Beyoncé, Of Montreal, or Walk the Moon. We danced in his kitchen to “Shut Up and Dance” on repeat at least 10 times. We were so winded.
Getting to share a Red Wings game in Detroit and seeing The Book of Mormon together are two moments I’ll always hold close. He brought so much joy and presence into everything.
He always told me he used to tell Wanda, growing up, that he wanted to be a “big mommy” like her one day. I’m so happy he got to live out that dream. I know he was an incredible father—he was made for it. And I know he and his momma’s reunion was absolutely spectacular.
I have so many beautiful memories with Justin, and I’ll cherish them and hold them close forever. Please accept my deepest, deepest condolences.

It’s crazy thinking back on the amount of time I’ve spent with Justin in our younger years. We literally travelled the world together spreading the word of Jesus & volunteering, spent a many times at summer camp & church. Our friend group was so special back in middle school/high school & I was so blessed to get to know Justin. The last I saw him was a few years ago where he came to my current home church - 7 hills. So many great memories. Hope you’re looking down on us now- healed, happy & with Jesus; you will be greatly missed.
