When I think of Jun, I think of sunny Saturday Markets, wearing a baseball cap with a vodka logo and enjoying pizza and gyros with the friends and family discount. Carrie and Jun, thank you for letting all three of our kids help at your booths. They learned so much more than how to make great pizza (which they still make, just less often and in smaller quantities!) They learned about teamwork, generosity, strength, kindness, encouragement, and the magical power of friendships. They carry these lessons with them and use them well. Dan and I always enjoyed hearing the entertaining Jun stories at the end of a weekend. Those were good times, with good people who did good things.
Dear Carrie, we hope you find some comfort in knowing that you and your precious Jun have left an imprint on other’s lives forever and we are grateful. We hope that every day the good memories help lighten the weight of your loss.
Sending you lots of long-distance love,
Tina and Dan Arend
We are so very sad about the loss of Jun.  He was sharp witted and sarcastic soul who loved his people and was fiercely generous!!  I have so many memories, including those fabulous grilled chicken Caesar wraps and getting good  distributor gear out of his garage, but one of my favorites is Jun at our wedding. Our venue lost power the day of the wedding and they tried to convince us they could put on our reception with no working ovens! We asked Jun to go back and talk to the chef for us to see if it was really possible. In true Jun fashion, he got the chef to tell the truth—heck no, they couldn’t handle our reception with no power! Thankfully that information helped inspire the venue to move our reception to an alternate location—one with power and ovens!  Only Jun could get the chef to tell the truth when the venue was telling us everything was fine!  We will miss you and your sarcastic come backs and think of you every time we see the 49ers play my friend!

I’m so shocked and saddened to hear of Jun’s passing. He was that guy who would go over and above to help a friend. Such a kind loving guy, a true bright light in the world. He will be forever remembered and missed. Hugs Carrie for your tremendous loss! ♥️
