I love these photos.. such a strong sweet soul!  I had lots of respect for her and I feel she did me.. Strong Democrat and a Conservative Republican!  But will share a table in heaven!  Much love to her family!

For anyone who was curious or who asked, I have written down the words from the song that Satchel and I wrote.

Words from Her

Feelings captured in a thousand words,

I feel them in the words from her,

She wrote love letters in the way she spoke,

She spoke her mind every line,

So when the tea gets cold,

And you're afraid to brave it on your own,

It's those

Kitchen conversations, talking about life's frustrations,

I still hold a piece of you there,

You're in the air, I can feel you in the trees,

Cause you raised them and they raised me,

You're in the setting sun, in the Hudson on and on,

And your tide reminds me to breathe deep,

Now that the sun has set,

And we've made our memories that we have kept,

Still beyond that hill,

There's a road left untraveled,

I don't know where, but I'll see you there,

For the stories we'll unravel

So when the tea gets cold,

And you're afraid to brave it on your own,

It's those

Kitchen conversations, talking about life's frustrations

I still hold a piece of you there

You're in the air,

I can feel you in the trees,

Cause you raised them and they raised me,

You're in the setting sun, in the Hudson on and on,

And your tide reminds me to breathe deep,

I am still so heart broken every day when I think Judy is gone. I have so many wonderful memories of her of us on Third St. In Corning. Liz was just a baby when I started working for Judy & Erick. The boys were young and so sweet and how they love Liz. Judy and I had some great talks sharing coffee at big wood table. I loved seeing of her great fines when she came home from shopping.

I will miss her for a long long time. I wish I could be there for tomorrow to say a final Good by.

I pray for all of you every day to help you through this difficult time.

Jennifer Thompson

Jude started out as an out of town RE/MAX acquaintance, she then became a real estate friend, who I always looked forward to seeing at real estate conferences. Once when my luggage was lost in Atlanta, while attending a RE/MAX conference she helped me choose a new wardrobe while the airline tried to find my luggage. It did not take long for her to be a friend irrespective of real estate. I always loved hearing her brag about her family especially her children. The world lost one of the best people ever. My deepest condolences.

Judy was my best friend for over 40 years, a lifetime friendship. From the start we loved chatting about everything whether it was children, love, marriage, culture, God, flowers, gardens, houses, money, school, food, wine, tea, real estate, parties, decorating, dogs, money, family, tv, books, movies, tennis, Yankees. We discussed it all. When we lived near each other we used to go grocery shopping together so we would have more time to talk. We were very close, and our kids were more like cousins than neighbors. Alex delivered my Christmas tree in his ambulance, Jordan helped Jessie clean her room. Matthew and Elizabeth were inseparable, and they all took care of Elizabeth II. Later when each of us moved we still stayed in touch. We did not need daily contact to stay connected. E-mail and social media played a part, but we always talked, and our friendship supplied all the therapy we ever needed. She always stood by me, even if I was not always right. I know real friends can never be lost, but I miss her, and the loss is devastating. I realize we will always have memories to treasure but right now I am at a loss for the words to describe how I feel, and this does not happen often. Judy always had all the words, and I will keep her in my heart always.
My sympathies to Liz, Jordan, and Alex. It was a joy to watch your love, devotion and care for your mother.   You should be proud.  I know she was proud of you.

Jude always found time for a comforting check-in, showing curiosity about others and the world. She was funny and charming and I'm really sorry she is gone because I know how much she will be missed. Hugs to the kids, especially Bizzy B.
May God bless Jude and her wonderful family. Jude was a great neighbor and a true friend always. She had a special love for community and was very involved in making Fishkill Woods a better place for all of us. You will be missed..

Just learned about Jude. I’m in a state of disbelief.  Am so sorry. Know all of you are struggling with this but give yourself time. You will never get over it BUT you will get through it. Will keep all of you in my prayers.

When you have her service here in Louisville, please let me know because I want to be there. Again, I am so sorry.  Give my love to Dave.

Jordan, Alex, Liz, Dave and all of the grandkids, my thoughts are with you all. This is just devastating! As with so many of us, Jude’s friendship was cherished immensely. And she cherished each of you - not a conversation would pass without her telling me what one or more of you were doing and how amazing you all are. She had so many gifts including intelligence, intuitiveness, determination, acceptance & kindness towards others, motherly instincts and so much more. Jude could instill hope in all of us and strength to endure - “if Jude can do it, so can I”. I will be forever grateful to her for so many things and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. We will be together again … we will meet again 😢
I love how she loved my brother, David❤️
To Alex, Jordan, and Liz ---I am very sorry to read of your Mom's passing. She was quite a lady and was certainly proud of each of you. Sincere condolences to you and your family.
I am so heart broken to hear Judy’s passing, God bless her soul she was wonderful lady.
